1. Introduction

Centrated Lagree ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information about customers and visitors who use our website at www.centratedlagree.com ("Website"), our class reservation system, and our other online products and services (collectively, "Services").

This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, available at www.centratedlagree.com/termsofservice.

Please read this Policy carefully. By accessing or using our Website or Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. Where consent is required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information.

This Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email (to the address associated with your account) or by posting a prominent notice on our Website. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. We will obtain your consent to any new ways of collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information where required by law.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we collect:

•       On our Website and through our online Services;

•       In email, text, and other electronic communications between you and us;

•       Through mobile and desktop applications you download from our Website;

•       When you book classes, purchase memberships, or use recovery services;

•       When you interact with our advertising on third-party websites that link to this Policy.

This Policy does not apply to information collected offline or through third-party websites or services that are not operated by us, even if those third-party sites are accessible through links on our Website. Third-party websites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them before providing any personal information.

3. Applicable Privacy Law

We operate in British Columbia, Canada, and are subject to the Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia) ("PIPA") and, where applicable, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA"). Under Canadian privacy law, "personal information" generally means information about an identifiable individual, including information that can identify a person on its own or when combined with other information.

We collect, use, and disclose personal information only with your knowledge and consent (express or implied), except where otherwise permitted or required by law.

4. Information We Collect

4.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect personal information you provide when you:

Register for an account or book a class through our Website or reservation system;

•       Purchase a membership, class pack, or recovery service;

•       Complete a health history form or liability waiver;

•       Contact us by email, phone, or through our Website;

•       Sign up for our newsletter or promotional communications;

•       Enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us;

•       Respond to surveys or provide feedback.

This information may include your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, billing information, class reservation history, membership details, and health information relevant to your participation in Lagree fitness or recovery services. Health information may include information regarding injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy status, physical limitations, fitness readiness, treatment history, and other information voluntarily provided to help us deliver services safely. Certain services may be provided by independently regulated healthcare professionals. Personal health information collected as part of those clinical services may be subject to separate privacy obligations and consent requirements under applicable healthcare privacy legislation.

Note: We do not require your Social Insurance Number (SIN) to provide our services. Please do not share your SIN with us.

4.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

•       Your IP address and approximate location (derived from IP, not GPS);

•       Browser type, version, and plug-ins;

•       Operating system and device information;

•       Pages visited, time spent, links clicked, and clickstream data;

•       Referring and exit URLs;

•       Search queries made on our Website.

We use this information to improve our Website, analyze usage patterns, and deliver a more personalized experience. We do not collect precise geolocation data.

4.3 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixel tags) to collect information about your interactions with our Website. Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We use them to:

•       Keep you logged in to your account;

•       Remember your preferences;

•       Understand how you use our Website;

•       Measure the effectiveness of our marketing.

 You can control cookies and similar tracking technologies through your browser settings and, where available, through any cookie preference tools provided on our Website. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of parts of our Website. Our Website may also use web beacons, pixel tags, or similar technologies in emails and online content to help confirm delivery, measure engagement, and understand how our communications and Services are used.

4.4 Health and Wellness Information

Because we offer recovery modalities — including red light therapy and compression therapy — we may collect health-related information that you voluntarily provide, such as medical conditions, injuries, or contraindications noted on your intake form or liability waiver. This information is collected solely for the purpose of ensuring your safety and tailoring your experience with our recovery services. It is treated with the highest level of care and is not shared with third parties except where required by law or where you have provided your express consent.

Providing this information is voluntary, but certain recovery services may not be available to you without it.

4.5 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties such as our booking software provider, payment processors, and analytics providers. We treat this information in accordance with this Policy.

4.6 Video Surveillance

For the safety and security of our members, staff, visitors, and property, Centrated Lagree may use video surveillance in certain areas of the studio. Video recordings may be collected and used for security, incident investigation, theft prevention, and risk-management purposes. Surveillance is not used in areas where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Recordings are accessible only to authorized personnel and are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information we collect for the following purposes:

•       To create and manage your account and process class reservations and purchases;

•       To send booking confirmations, class reminders, waitlist notifications, and account updates;

•       To process payments and manage your membership;

•       To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;

•       To send you marketing communications about our services, promotions, and events — where you have opted in, or where permitted by applicable law;

•       To improve our Website, Services, and customer experience;

•       To conduct research, analytics, and reporting;

•       To administer contests, promotions, and surveys;

•       To detect and prevent fraud or other illegal activity;

•       To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements;

•       For any other purpose you consent to at the time of collection.

 We will not use your personal information for any purpose that is incompatible with the purposes described above without first obtaining your consent.

6. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your personal information in the following circumstances:

6.1 Service Providers

We share personal information with third-party vendors and service providers that support our business operations, such as our booking platform, payment processors, email marketing providers, website hosting providers, customer support providers, and analytics providers. These parties are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to us and are required to protect it in a manner consistent with this Policy and applicable law. Payment information is processed through secure third-party payment processors. Centrated Lagree does not store complete credit card information on its own servers.

6.2 Business Transfers

If Centrated Lagree is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our Website before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Some service providers may store or process personal information outside British Columbia or Canada, including in the United States. In those cases, personal information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is stored or processed, including lawful access by courts, law enforcement, or government authorities.

6.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Centrated Lagree, our members, or the public.

6.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information with third parties for marketing or other purposes where you have provided your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time (see Section 9).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not allow advertising companies to collect data through our Services for the purpose of ad targeting. Any analytics providers we use access only anonymized or aggregated data (such as IP addresses or device identifiers) to help us understand how our Services are used; they do not receive personally identifiable information and do not share individual user data with others.

7. International Transfers of Personal Information

Some of our service providers, including booking, payment, hosting, analytics, and cloud infrastructure providers, may store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. When personal information is transferred outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of the country in which it is held, including laws that permit disclosure to courts, law enforcement, or government authorities in that country.

We use contractual, administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to ensure that service providers protect personal information in a manner that is comparable to the protections required under applicable Canadian privacy law.

You may contact us for more information about our data transfer practices (see Section 12).

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks. Sensitive information, such as payment information, is transmitted using appropriate encryption and processed by secure third-party payment processors.

You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential. We ask that you not share your password with anyone and that you notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to provide our Services, to meet legal, accounting, reporting, insurance, and risk-management requirements, and to resolve disputes or enforce agreements. When personal information is no longer required, we securely destroy, delete, or anonymize it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

We may maintain records relating to signed waivers, membership agreements, attendance history, booking activity, cancellation history, and communications with members for operational, legal, and risk-management purposes.

We may retain anonymized or aggregated data (which cannot identify you) indefinitely for business and analytical purposes.

10. Your Rights and Choices

10.1 Access and Correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request correction of information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete. You can review and update some of your information by logging into your account. To request access or correction, contact us at info@centratedlagree.com. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests where permitted by law and will notify you of any fee in advance.

We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. In some cases, we may be unable to provide access to certain information (for example, if doing so would reveal information about another person, or if we are legally prevented from doing so); in such cases, we will explain why.

10.2 Withdrawing Consent

Where we rely on your consent to collect, use, or disclose your personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at info@centratedlagree.com. Please note that withdrawing consent may affect your ability to use some of our Services. We will explain the impact when you make your request.

10.3 Marketing Communications

If you have opted in to receive marketing emails from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by contacting us at info@centratedlagree.com. By subscribing to marketing communications, you consent to receive promotional emails, newsletters, offers, event announcements, and studio updates from Centrated Lagree. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not opt you out of transactional or service-related communications, such as booking confirmations, class reminders, payment notices, and account updates.

10.4 Cookies and Tracking

You can manage cookies and similar tracking technologies through your browser settings and, where available, through any cookie preference tools provided on our Website. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of parts of our Website. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before using non-essential cookies or similar tracking technologies.

11. Minors

Our Website and Services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If you are under 16, please do not register on our Website or provide personal information to us unless a parent or guardian has provided any required consent.

If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us at info@centratedlagree.com.
